Job Description:  The Long Beach Utilities (LBU) Department has an immediate opening for three Engineering Intern Non-Career position in the Gas Engineering and Water/Sewer Engineering Bureaus. The Long Beach Utilities Department’s Gas and Water/Sewer Engineering Bureaus plan, design, and manage the city’s water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure, support construction and development, and ensure safe, reliable, and compliant service. The positions will work in person at either the Gas Campus located at 2400 E. Spring Street, Long Beach, CA 90806, or at the Water Campus located at 1800 E. Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90807.
