Job Description:  Under immediate supervision, the selected candidate will perform a variety of duties throughout the Laboratory within the Analytical Chemistry section. These duties may include collecting and recording QA/QC data, cleaning glassware, preparing reagents, receiving and logging samples, performing routine analysis of environmental samples, and working with analytical data. Other duties may include preserving samples, assisting with the preparation and extraction of wastewater, fish, and sediment samples using liquid-liquid, solid phase, microwave, or pressurized fluid extraction techniques, assisting with sample concentration, collecting, entering, tabulating, and analyzing data, general housekeeping, and performing other duties as required.
