Job Description:  The Operations Intern will work within the District's Operations Department, collaborating with Construction Managers, Facility Maintenance Professionals, Engineers, and Water Quality Compliance Analysts on a variety of projects. Responsibilities include tasks related to the development, storage, and distribution of recycled water, as well as permitting, reporting, and compliance. Specific duties involve data collection, data entry for process monitoring and control, and preparing treatment plant operational reports. The internship offers both hands-on field experience and professional office skills development in water production and service. Interns will gain valuable experience in water treatment facility operations and optimization, including distribution systems, treatment plants, asset management, compliance, facility maintenance, and construction projects.
