Job Description:  The Water Facilities Authority is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist its certified water treatment operators in the day-to-day operations of the agency’s 81-million gallons per day Agua de Lejos Surface Water Treatment Plant. This is a temporary 10-week internship designed to provide hands-on experience and practical exposure to careers in the water industry. This role will provide handson experience assisting with the operation and maintenance of the treatment plant, distribution system, and essential equipment, including but not limited to pipes, pumps, valves, filters, chemical feeders, telemetry equipment, alarms, recorders, pump controls, and storage facilities.
