Job Description:  Westlands awards scholarships annually to seniors from local west side high schools who are planning on attending an accredited post-secondary education program, including a two-year or four-year college or university. Graduating seniors from Reef-Sunset Unified School District, Coalinga-Huron Unified School District, Firebaugh-Las Deltas Unified School District, Hanford Joint Union High School District, Lemoore Union High School District, Mendota Unified School District, Riverdale Joint Unified School District, or Golden Plains Unified School District are eligible to apply. The winners are selected based on the submitted application, essay, academic transcript, and references. Each scholarship recipient receives $1,000 for the accredited educational program of their choice.Apprenticeship award; however, only one can be won. If applying for both, please indicate “first choice” and “second choice” on top of each application.
